EP 9801 Two-Component Urethane
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: EP9801 is a two component, casting urethane
primarily formulated for the manufacture of non-structural or decorative
items. EP9801 provides the following
outstanding features:
(1) Low viscosity, ~ 75 cps (Water-like)
(2) Convenient volumetric mix ratio
(3) Rapid set time for high productivity
(4) Low odor, which dissipates after cure
(5) Excellent reproduction of even the
finest detail
(6) Readily accepts paints, stains and
finishes
(7) Tough, break-resistant character

Ratio: 1:1 by Volume
Pot
Life: 1-2 min.
Cure
Time: 10-20 min. (depends on
temperature, humidity, casting thickness)
CAUTION: DO NOT OVERMIX.
STIR VIGOROUSLY FOR 10 SECONDS MAXIMUM. OVERMIXING WILL CAUSE AIR BUBBLES AND
SOLVENT LEAKAGE FROM CURED PART.
Urethanes are extremely water sensitive:
The slightest moisture that comes into contact with either part A, part B or
the curing mixture could may cause incomplete curing and/or foaming. Take the
necessary precautions (close the caps on containers tightly; do not blow on
curing resin; make sure mold is dry prior to casting). he resultant room temperature cured plastic

Warning: Uncured EP 9801 may cause respiratory &
skin irritation with possible sensitization.
Use only with adequate ventilation.
If skin contact occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flood with water
& call a physician. Use of gloves
and face shield is recommended. EP9801
should not be used near food or where prolonged skin contact may occur.
